Zúñiga refers to Colombia's awakening: "Against Brazil, we will show what we have."

What the defeat left behind:

"We have to avoid lifting the ball so much. We are strong with the ball on the ground, creating spaces and taking full advantage of that. Venezuela defended very well. They closed the way out for me and Armero. We will try not to fall into their game."

The lack of rhythm of some players:

"Now it is normal to talk about the lack of continuity of some of us because we lost. But the important thing is that those of us who are here are because the coaching staff gave us confidence. And I have always said that whoever enters the field of play will always show a good attitude."

The qualifying options:

"Of course we want to qualify and we have what it takes. We know it won't be easy because this Copa America is complicated, and the game against Brazil will be the same. We will try to get a good result and advance to the second phase."

Does the favoritism weigh?:

"Before starting, no one is a favorite and no one wants to give anything away. We are just another national team that has been thinking about each game, and we take each game as a final. We don't consider ourselves favorites."

James' game:

"James is a key player, but we all contribute in some way. With space, he can make the difference. What matters is that yesterday we showed attitude. Until the last moment, we will give everything for this national team."

Is Zúñiga the same as in the World Cup?:

"I think about the present. Every match I play, I treat it like a final. As a defender, I try to keep the goal unbeaten. If there is space, I contribute to the team in the offensive part."

The absences:

"The beauty of this group is that we are a family. Regardless of who is here, whoever comes to the national team knows what the coach wants, and they always fit well into the group. Everyone knows what we are fighting for. Of course, we miss some who are not here, but the family remains intact."

Learned lessons:

"We won't lie. The defeat hurt us a lot. We didn't expect it, but it will serve us a lot. It teaches us things that life leaves us, and now we have to improve against Brazil. We will continue with the work plan and show what we have against Brazil."
