Arsenal's future uncertain after Wenger's defeat
After the events of the last few weeks and, in particular, after the resounding defeat against Bayern Munich in the Champions League, the current situation at Arsenal revolves around the continuity of Arsene Wenger. The coach seems to have exhausted his credit after 20 seasons leading the London team.
Arsenal interested in Layvin Kurzawa
Although no official position has been taken yet, the board seems willing to make decisions that go beyond the presence or absence of the French coach. In fact, a report from the newspaper Metro indicates that, regardless of what happens with Wenger, the club will pursue one of the players he has recommended, left-back Layvin Kurzawa.
Kurzawa's trajectory
Trained in the AS Monaco academy, the defender played 75 matches in Ligue 1 with the first team before signing with Paris Saint-Germain, where he has shown continuous improvement and become one of the best left-backs in the league. He has also earned 6 caps with the French national team.
Arsenal's offer
To secure his signing, which is expected to be difficult due to Paris Saint-Germain's resistance, Arsenal will offer around £17 million (about €20 million), an amount that seems insufficient considering PSG paid €24 million to acquire Kurzawa.
