Google made a serious mistake in its annual list of most searched terms.
Kurt Cobain, the former lead singer of Nirvana who died in 1994, appeared on the list of most searched athletes in 2012, ranking number nine, ahead of Tito Vilanova and Iker Casillas.
The error is found in the document presented by Google, along with various rankings of the most searched topics in different areas, both worldwide and nationally.
Sergio Ramos tops the list of most searched athletes on the platform, where Fernando Torres, Gerard Piqué, Mourinho, Iniesta, Pep Guardiola, and Ricky Rubio also appear.
The search platform's report also covers topics such as the most searched international teams, with Real Madrid and Chelsea standing out. There is also a section on Olympic athletes, where Mireira Melmonte leads the list.
