Yunes threatens to close Luis Pirata Fuente stadium

Miguel Ángel Yunes Márquez will close the Luis Pirata Fuente stadium if Fidel Kuri Grajales does not pay taxes to the City Council.

According to XEU news radio station, the mayor of Boca de Río said that they only receive 60 thousand pesos from the club, when the amount should be per ticket sold, according to the Municipal Treasury Code.

"This man wants to use the stadium for free, wants to use the Tiburones name for free and does not want to pay anything", Yunes expressed.

Similarly, he warned that if Kuri Grajales does not respond to the demands of the City Council, the ticket office will be closed before the next Tiburones Rojos game. "We will not allow any blackmail, the reality is that this man has to pay what the Municipal Treasury Code states."

Finally, he ruled out that the issue takes on political implications, as the law cannot be politicized: "If he wants to continue having the same treatment he had with Duarte, where they gave him 100 million pesos a year, well that is wrong, I don't think anyone in their right mind would do it."
