The Euroleague announced today that three of its current sponsors have renewed their commitments. They are the VTB Arena park in Moscow, the travel and event agency Detur, and the brewery EFES Pilsener. With these agreements, the Euroleague increases total sponsorship revenue by 15% for the 2015-16 season. In the last five seasons, these revenues had already doubled, and they will continue to increase as new projects and agreements are announced in the coming weeks.

"Once again, these extensions prove that the brands that have trusted us are achieving a true return on their investment and are willing to continue to trust in the Euroleague," said Jordi Bertomeu, president and CEO of the competition, who highlights: "The attractiveness of the product and its wide distribution across all platforms and territories."

The VTB Arena park (a multifunctional entertainment and sports complex under construction in Moscow, expected to open to the public on October 22, 2017) has extended its agreement with the Euroleague for another season, in a collaboration that has been ongoing since 2012. The agreement includes different marketing rights as well as the commitment to organize a future edition of the Final Four.

"We are very pleased with the renewal of the agreement with the Euroleague. Our collaboration over the past three seasons has allowed us a significant increase in awareness of the VTB Arena project, particularly among basketball fans," said Andrey Peregoudov, third vice president of VTB Bank and head of the VTB Arena project. "We want to emphasize that we are willing to host such a respected event as the Final Four in the near future."

The Detur agency, one of the leading companies in Europe in the travel business, started its collaboration with the Euroleague in 2012, offering fans a quality travel and accommodation package. They extend their partnership for another year.

"We are proud to be part of the most important basketball organization in Europe for another year," said Ilgaz Bağlıkaya, business development supervisor at Detur. "The commitment we have made is a responsibility and proof of our mutual growth resulting from the synergy between tourism and basketball."

Finally, EFES Pilsener, which began its collaboration with the Euroleague in 2008, will continue with the sponsorship for two more seasons and becomes the brand with the longest relationship with the Euroleague. "The Euroleague is the most prestigious basketball organization in Europe, with unparalleled reach and professional standards," said Selda Çelik, marketing director of the international brand Anadolu EFES. "EFES, the number one beer in the Mediterranean, will continue to be the official partner of the Euroleague."

In the coming weeks, announcements of new agreements will be made that will continue to increase revenue, one of the main objectives of the Euroleague and its clubs for the next three years.
