The template of Rafa Benitez completed the first of the two planned sessions for today, starting the second day of training at the Ciudad Real Madrid.
Divided into several work groups, the players started with demanding series of continuous running before the ball took center stage. They then carried out different rondos and possession exercises and mobility, in addition to several small-goal matches where they practiced pressure, support, and precision in passing; all marked by a high intensity of execution.
The preparatory session of the first team of Real Madrid had a special guest: the tenor Placido Domingo, an honorary club member who visited the Ciudad Deportiva del Real Madrid and attended the training session, after which he greeted the coaches and players.
The available players from the first team, as well as the academy players Abner Felipe, Ruben Yanez, Marcos Llorente, Jose Carlos Lazo, and Martin Odegaard, were divided into several work groups in a training session that started at 9.30 am "with demanding series of continuous running," the club reported.
This evening, starting at 7:00 pm, the team will complete the second training session of the day.
