According to the information provided by the company, both bullfighters are responsible for choosing the ranch, with the intention that they shine in the bullring and the fans win.

Rafael Cortés Montalvo, member of the organizing committee, pointed out that both ranches are of recognized quality in Mexico and whichever one is chosen would be of great relevance for this historic celebration.

Pozo Hondo, located in Zacatecas, is located in the Santa Ana ranch and is owned by Ramiro Alatorre and Ana María Rivero Llaguno. It is one of the ranches that zealously guards the direct line of San Mateo.

Meanwhile, Campo Hermoso, located in San Miguel de Allende, was founded by Don José Ladislao González Nales in 1982.

Ponce, originally from Chiva, Valencia, Spain, is considered an era bullfighter, leading the world bullfighters' ranking for many years, with around two thousand bullfights under his belt and important triumphs in the world's major fairs.

The company made a great effort to bring these two great bullfighters, one of an era and the other a young man who is making his way up in the national bullfighting ranking.

Ponce is considered a refined bullfighter, who has shown great skill in every bullring he has set foot in and has usually come out triumphant.

He has performed in Sevilla and Barcelona, France, and a large part of Latin America, including Mexico, where he has triumphed in the main national stage, the Mexico City Bullring.

In Torreón, he has already performed once a little over a year ago with undoubtedly a triumph.

Pozo Hondo and Campo Hermoso are competing to be the bullfight that will be offered on February 18th at the Alberto Balderas Bullring.

His alternate will be Mexican bullfighter Sergio Flores from Tlaxcala, one of the strong cards of the young Mexican bullfighting scene, winner of the past bullfighting season in Mexico City and in the main national fairs, a serious bullfighter, without boasting, who is making an important name for himself in Mexican bullfighting, so undoubtedly he will give the Spanish bullfighter a replica with that dry value that characterizes him.

The Alberto Balderas Bullring has a capacity for only 2 thousand spectators, so a full house is expected.
