The Juventus qualifies to the semifinals of the Italian Cup
The Juventus, current champion, qualified for the semifinals of the Italian Cup by defeating Milan, last year's finalist and winner of the Supercup, by 2-1 with a goal from the Argentine Paulo Dybala, this Wednesday in Turin.
Now the great dominator of Italian football will play for a spot in the final against Napoli, in good form, who qualified on Tuesday by winning 1-0 against Fiorentina.
This Wednesday, Juventus quickly secured their pass. First, Dybala (minute 10) took advantage of a backheel by the Colombian Juan Cuadrado after a pass from the left by the Ghanaian Kwadwo Asamoah.
Asamoah was again in the spotlight, receiving a foul from the Slovak Juraj Kucka on the edge of the area. The Bosnian specialist Miralem Pjanic scored the 2-0 (21).
The home team could have gone to the dressing room with a three-goal advantage, but the referee ruled offside in an action finished by the German Sami Khedira (29).
Milan didn't give up and reduced the gap thanks to the Colombian Carlos Bacca (53), taking advantage of a pass from Luca Antonelli.
But the visitor's joy only lasted a minute because Manuel Locatelli, who had received a yellow card in the first half, received a second one after a harsh foul on Dybala and was sent off.
