Next Sunday will take place the 2K and 4K Pro Bosque athletic race, with open invitation to the whole community.
The competition will take place in a circuit around the Venustiano Carranza Forest, starting at 8:00 am with the start and finish at the main entrance of the public promenade, through Juan Pablos Street.
There will be 2 and 4 kilometers races, according to the participants who register, both in the male and female categories.
The cost is 60 pesos. The total amount collected will be donated for the maintenance of the Venustiano Carranza Forest.
In the 4K distance, the categories are: Youth (up to 19 years old), Open (20 to 39 years old), Master (40 to 49 years old), Veterans (50 to 59 years old), and Veterans Plus (60 years old and above).
The 2K race is a running-walking route, in categories: Boys, Girls, Open Male, and Open Female.
Each registered runner will receive a t-shirt from another event, a number from another event, and a medal from another event.
Registrations are available at the Venustiano Carranza Forest (with Yayo), until Friday from 8:00 am to 11:00 am and from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
The package delivery (numbers and t-shirts) will be done at the time of registration. To award the winners, recognitions will be given to the top three places in each category, at the end of the competition.
The organizing committee is the Promotora Atlética de La Laguna, led by Alfredo Alemán Baños, in support of this important public promenade that throughout the year welcomes runners, either for training or to participate in some of the competitions held there.
