Spitting incident in Liga MX
The Disciplinary Committee could deal with another spitting case in Liga MX, as according to José Luis Arce, vice president of Pumas, Argentinean player Gabriel Peñalba from Cruz Azul spit on Nicolás Castillo during the first half of the match between the felinos and the cementeros, which ended in victory for the former.
"Gabriel Peñalba spat on Castillo during the first half; we hope he is condemned," said the executive to the media.
Both Peñalba and Castillo were sent off from the game. The former for a tackle on Bryan Rabello, while the Chilean, who scored the only goal of the match, was shown a red card for a second booking.
In Matchday 1, it was Diego Novaretti from León who spat on Hirving Lozano from Pachuca. This action cost the emerald player a six-game suspension.
