Germán Pezzella is now in Seville
The Argentine center-back arrived this morning at the Santa Justa train station and will sign a five-year contract as the new player for Betis after passing the mandatory medical examination.
Pezzella will become the sixth reinforcement for Betis, but he was expected to be the third before his signing became a true soap opera due to the demands of his now-former team, River Plate. Finally, he will be sold in exchange for just over two million euros for 50 percent of his transfer rights.
The defender from Bahía Blanca turned 24 years old recently and stands out for his ability to play the ball and score important goals. With River, he managed to score in two finals and also in a Superclásico against Boca Juniors.
Piccini and N'Diaye
On the other hand, Betis experienced its fifth training session on Friday with the additions of Piccini and N'Diaye. The Italian full-back signed a four-year contract with the team yesterday and the French-Senegalese midfielder had a few more days off due to his commitments with the national team. Rubén Castro and Xavi Torres did not participate in the morning session due to respective muscle problems.
