Roberto Mosquera talks about Alianza Lima
While his mind is currently on Venezuela and the Copa Libertadores, Roberto Mosquera cannot stop talking about Alianza Lima. A few days ago, the coach was presented in Wilstermann and on Tuesday he addressed the issue of the blanquiazules. In an interview in the 'llanero' country, 'Mosca' referred to how complicated it was to manage in Matute.
"In the last 5 years, we have fulfilled all the objectives entrusted to us with my coaching staff. Alianza was a topic that remains pending because we could only qualify for the Copa Sudamericana, it is a complex team. We have broken a glass that represents 10 years without winning the championship, the next coach will finish breaking the glass," said the former coach of Alianza Lima, Roberto Mosquera, on ATB Digital.
Also, Roberto Mosquera spoke about his present in Wilstermann of Bolivia, where he will have to face two parallel tournaments: the local tournament and the Copa Libertadores. It will be complicated but not impossible to handle, says 'Mosca'.
"We have made evaluations and we have 11 players at an optimum level, then there are 11 more who are close to these and then we have 3 or 4 players who are a bit far from what we want. From now until January 29th, we are going to standardize performances and capabilities. Then you will be able to see a first face of the change we want in Wilstermann," added Roberto Mosquera.
It is worth mentioning that Roberto Mosquera was fired from Alianza Lima at the beginning of the 2016 playoffs due to poor results, and Juan José Jayo became the interim coach.
