Second stage of Bruce Arena as coach of the US national soccer team to start with friendly match against Serbia

The US federation announced on Wednesday that the match in San Diego will be after a concentration in Carson, California, starting on January 8th. It will be one of two friendlies that the United States will play before resuming the CONCACAF World Cup qualifiers on March 24th at home against Honduras.

Arena was the coach of the national team between 1998-2006, and was rehired last month to replace Juergen Klinsmann, who was dismissed after losing the first two matches of the final hexagonal of the CONCACAF.
