Intense Day in Peruvian Soccer: Sporting Cristal and Melgar advance to the Final
Yesterday afternoon an intense day was experienced in our national soccer. Sporting Cristal and Melgar secured their spot in the final of the 2016 Descentralizado, by defeating their rivals, Deportivo Municipal and Universitario de Deportes, respectively.
On one hand, the 'cervecero' team achieved their pass by defeating 'Muni' in a penalty shootout, while the team from Arequipa drew 2-2 with 'U,' nevertheless, they secured their spot thanks to a 2-1 victory in the first leg.
