Triple triumph in Jamaican Usain Bolt's career

Jamaican Usain Bolt has been proclaimed the best athlete in the world for the sixth time in his career, in 2016, in the history.

Ethopian Almaz Ayana, Olympic champion and world record holder in the 10,000 meters, also joined this historical moment by inscribing her name for the first time in the history of this trophy. The ceremony was held at the Sporting Club in Montecarlo.

Mo Farah from Britain was the main rival of Usain Bolt. He repeated his Olympic double in the long distance events (5,000 and 10,000 meters) at the Rio Olympics.
