Note
For the non-affiliated public of Charros de Jalisco, it will be a greater challenge to get tickets for the upcoming 2017 World Baseball Classic, a world-class event that will have part of its first phase at the Zapopan ballpark in March.
Armando Navarro, president of Charros de Jalisco, said that the pre-sale will begin now for the public who have the Charros season ticket. The second beneficiaries will be the cardholders of the bank associated with Major League Baseball (MLB), and finally, ticket sales to the general public may open until next January.
"Tickets will be available exclusively for season ticket holders, it was always said that they would have preferential rights. We have already sent them an email and they will be able to purchase their tickets. They have priority until December 15th. Next week, the deal between a bank and Major League will be announced, and cardholders of that bank will have a special pre-sale until the last day of December. Tickets for the general public may be available for sale until the month of January."
The difficulty for the general public to get a ticket in a venue that will increase its seating capacity to accommodate up to 15,000 attendees increases considerably, as Charros will prioritize its nearly 6,000 season ticket holders and MLB has already reserved around 2,000 tickets.
The ticket counters at the Charros de Jalisco and Athletics Baseball Stadium, along with the Ticketmaster ticketing system, will be the places where baseball lovers can purchase tickets. The tickets will be sold in packages of seven games, not individually.
