Cristiano Ronaldo
has always been known as a graceful character in Real Madrid's training sessions. However, that facet changes completely in an official match.
The former Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand spoke about the sense of humor of the Portuguese star. In an interview with the British media "Mirror," he pointed out that Sir Alex Ferguson had to put up with Ronaldo's heavy jokes. And he recounted one in particular.
"Cristiano got under a table, behind Ferguson, while Wayne Rooney passed the ball to the coach. Cristiano held his ankle before shooting and the coach was about to fall," Ferdinand said.
However, Sir Alex Ferguson didn't lose his balance. He managed to stay on his feet while Cristiano Ronaldo couldn't stop laughing. In the end, the legendary coach of Manchester United also burst out laughing at what had happened.
The relationship between the Portuguese star and the mythical coach of the 'Red Devils' was great. The same couldn't be said about Ferdinand. Cristiano never got along with him. The reason? Well, Rio, along with Scholes and other players, made fun of the clothing worn by the Madeira-born footballer. And that bothered him too much.
