The sports manager of Alianza Lima, Gustavo Zevallos, explained that the team from La Victoria won the three points of the classic against "U" in a complaint filed with the Commission of Justice of the Professional Football Association (CJ-ADFP).

"The position of Alianza is very clear, in the ADFP the Assembly meets and approves the Regulations and we consider that the rules that were signed at the beginning of the year are being violated. Respect has to start with us, we did what was appropriate to do, we have obtained benefits, nobody thinks of playing the championship to be in this kind of situations, it is not our responsibility, let it be clear, do not incite violence, there are ways and even the right words to say something. It is not my job to refer to someone," Zevallos pointed out on a Lima radio station.

The manager emphasized that what is happening in the issue of the unplayed classic against Universitario is not the responsibility of Alianza Lima, but of the rival's leadership.

"We agreed to play the classic on Sunday 06, when it was scheduled for Wednesday 02, now that they have disregarded the guarantees due to internal disputes, we are on the sidelines and that is evident. For a classic to be played behind closed doors, external security is needed, because it is not just any match and if it was not granted to them, it is for a reason," Zevallos emphasized.
