Atlético de Madrid reported through a medical report about Antoine Griezmann's injury. The red and white club announced that the Frenchman is already being treated by his physiotherapists upon his arrival in Madrid.

"Yesterday's X-ray ruled out a bone injury and the diagnosis indicates that he is suffering from a traumatic injury with a hematoma on the back of his left foot," said Atlético ruling out a more serious injury.

Now, the Atletico player is only thinking about recovering in time for the derby against Real Madrid. "It's not too serious, but I have to work morning, afternoon and night," said the footballer upon his arrival in the Spanish capital.

Frenchman caused a scare in the last few hours after ending up injured in his left foot after the qualifying match between the French team and Sweden last Friday, leaving the French national team's concentration.
