An emotional image went viral around the world at the Copa America final. In it, Lionel Messi was consoled by two Chilean children who could have celebrated their country's victory, but chose to approach the Argentinean star instead.

Days after the match at Estadio de Santiago, the Chilean newspaper Las Últimas Noticias and Canal Mega revealed what the children said to Messi: "Calm down, you are the best in the world and you have won everything with Barcelona." Messi responded with a wink.

The names of the children in question are Maximiliano (9 years old) and Martín (6 years old) Sandoval, both cousins of Charles Aránguiz, one of Chile's top players. "They were on the field during the celebration," said the 'Roja' player.
