The match between Defensor La Bocana and Real Garcilaso was suspended at 85' after local fans threw rocks onto the field on two occasions, despite warnings from referee Renzo Castañeda. The Cusco team won 2-0.
The first warning. In the 62nd minute, referee Renzo Castañeda decided to temporarily stop the match between Defensor La Bocana and Real Garcilaso because a rock had fallen onto the field.
At that moment, the loudspeaker at the Sesquicentenario stadium warned that any similar action would result in the definitive suspension of the match. And so it happened.
Less than five minutes remained to complete the 90 minutes of the match, but another rock fell onto the field and Renzo Castañeda definitively stopped the game despite protests from the La Bocana players.
The main referee and his team left the field after the decision. The incident occurred at the Sesquicentenario stadium in the city of Sechura, where La Bocana was the home team. Real Garcilaso was winning the match 2-0. The goals were scored by Sebastián Lojas (38') and Marcio Valverde (60').
