If someone is frustrated by this new defeat of Cruz Azul, it's Christian Giménez. The 'Chaco' was the only player of La Máquina who faced the situation after the loss to Querétaro and emphasized that the group must feel these hits.

"I've been here for seven years and I'm the first one responsible for the team not showing up in the key moments, the players not showing up, and nothing showing up. Something is missing, we need to be self-critical and we need to suffer, nothing more", said Giménez.

He emphasized that no more promises can be made to La Máquina's fans: "I am hurt by Cruz Azul's situation. What can we say to the people? They are tired of hearing words, they want results."

Although he stressed that the players are the ones most responsible for the team's situation.

"Something is missing. There are small details that need to be analyzed. I am hurt by this situation, but that doesn't mean we won't try to win on Saturday. The only ones responsible are the players, not the management and the coaching staff".

About what the team is lacking, and what Guillermo Álvarez Cuevas has publicly stated that the players need to show more dedication, the 'Chaco' replied.

"Balls, yes (it's necessary), the president always says that we need to have balls and it's always easy to say it, but we also need to have intelligence."

Finally, 'Chaco' asked for the support of the fans for the end of the tournament: "I hope the fans, even though they are angry, come and support us, give us the strength to win the game from outside, we have three home games and we can achieve something".
