Concerns about Roberto Osuna's participation in the Divisional Round
It is not serious but it is something they must be careful about, that's why the coaching staff doesn't know if they will put Roberto Osuna to pitch if they need him in the first game of the Divisional Round or if they will give him rest.
"He feels better today, but we'll see," explained John Gibbons, manager of the Toronto Blue Jays. "We are not sure what will happen tomorrow Thursday, but we don't think it's anything big, but it's wise to be cautious in these situations, especially this time of year."
The Mexican closer entered to pitch in the ninth inning of the Wild Card Game against Baltimore and got the three outs without any problems, but was sent back to the mound in the tenth inning. There, he got the first batter out but called for assistance and they decided to take him out of the game, as he had some kind of discomfort.
After the game, Osuna said he simply felt some tiredness in his arm and that's why he didn't continue, but it was nothing to worry about.
Hours after defeating the Orioles in the Wild Card clash, the team traveled to Arlington, as on Thursday Toronto will face the Texas Rangers to start the Divisional Round.
