Alfredo Frausto and two other players were involved in a street brawl, which is why they were separated from Tapachula.

After the Cafetaleros de Tapachula board announced yesterday the dismissal of a group of players, who were involved in an incident on September 28th, the club's sports director, Leonardo Casanova, exclusively informed La Afición that it was due to a collision and a small fight that the former members had with a taxi driver.

"A car accident, one of the guys had an accident with a taxi driver, they crashed and then there was an exchange of words and a small fight happened, only that in the crash one of the guys got injured, he hit his nose, he had a broken nose, and some of the guys got involved with the supporting taxi drivers during the small fight. This happened around midnight, transitioning from Wednesday to Thursday," said Casanova.

Leonardo Casanova was contacted by authorities to attend the scene, after three players were involved in the incident and the fight with several taxi drivers who went to support their teammate.

"I couldn't tell you if they were partying or not, but what I do know is that this happened, there are many versions, but as a club executive, who went to the scene, talked with traffic officers and the police, it was simply a small fight that didn't escalate, the problem was the car crash," informed the sports director of Tapachula.

Regarding those involved in the brawl, Leonardo Casanova mentioned that former goalkeeper Alfredo Frausto and two other players, who remain anonymous, were involved, after reaching an agreement with the board to not disclose their names.

"One of the players involved, among the main ones, is Alfredo Frausto, he fractured his nose, he's one of those who is separated, with the other guys we made a commitment not to reveal their names, they were simply separated and eventually everyone will find out who they are, for now we made a mutual agreement with them not to reveal, as a club, their names," stated the executive.

Lastly, Casanova expressed that this incident couldn't go unnoticed, since they were involved in a similar event over a year ago; that's why the board talked to each of the involved parties and "we terminated their contracts and it can be said that we do not tolerate this kind of indiscipline at any time".
