Ricardo La Volpe arrived in Mexico City to discuss details of his new position as the new head coach of Club America.
The Argentine traveled from Guadalajara after having a first contact with the club's high command (Ricardo Pelaez and Jose Romano) on Wednesday afternoon to talk about his sporting project. Ricardo Antonio even requested to change the training schedule of the team to start working as soon as his agreement is official in Coapa.
However, La Volpe said upon arrival at Mexico City International Airport, "nothing is signed, I am just going to talk, I appreciate the interest."
Another name that is being considered for the coaching position after Ignacio Ambriz's departure is Ruben Omar Romano, a 'disciple' of Ricardo Antonio in the national football sidelines.
