Olympic medalists Ivan Garcia and German Sanchez are preparing to participate in the September 16th parade in the capital's Zocalo.
In addition to them, Rommel Pacheco, Guadalupe González, Ismael Hernández and Misael Rodríguez will be present on Friday, as they are part of the armed forces.
Through social media, the athletes shared some images after roll call and even a picture greeting President Enrique Peña Nieto.
In the case of Ivan Garcia and German Sanchez, they had also shared three photos in which they were seen holding a weapon and another on top of a tank; however, minutes later they deleted the images from their Twitter account.
"As a diver and Olympic medalist, proud to be part of the #EjércitoyFAM @SEDENAmx @EPN," wrote Garcia on the social network alongside the image in which he greets the President.
