Tom Brady made a Bill Belichick comparison on X comparing how insider Jay Glazer escorted him off the always-satirical FOX NFL pregame set on Sunday.
Brady joined the FOX NFL Sunday team in their Los Angeles studio for the first time, as he was covering the Buffalo Bills-Los Angeles Rams game just down the road at SoFi Stadium. Glazer was wrapping up his solo segment highlighting whether key players were either "in or out" of the lineup for Sunday's contest before turning his attention to Brady.
“One more in and out," Glazer said. "I gotta do everything around here.... Tom Brady, out. Let’s go. You’ve [got to be at] the Rams-Bills game. You know 10 miles here in LA is like five hours of traffic. Get out!”

Glazer walked up to Brady and cheekily motioned to escort the seven-time Super Bowl winner off the set. Brady was all jokes, sharing a handshake with his fellow FOX staffer.
Brady quote-tweeted a video of the encounter posted on X on Monday, writing, "Jay doing his best 'Bill Belichick after the 2019 season' impression."
Reports of a tenuous relationship between Brady and his longtime New England Patriots coach Belichick after the 2019 season may have pushed the quarterback out the door and to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Brady cheekily followed up on his first tweet. "Kidding coach everyone knew I couldn't resist the Florida sunshine," he wrote, referencing the positive Tampa Bay weather.
Brady and Belichick spent 20 years together with the New England Patriots before the split. The future Pro Football Hall of Fame quarterback would go on to win another Super Bowl and posted consecutive 40+ touchdown seasons.
His 2021 campaign in Tampa was one of the strongest of his professional career. Aged 44, Brady passed for a career-best 5,316 yards as the Buccaneers won 13 games.
Belichick didn't have the same success without his star quarterback. The Patriots managed to sneak into the 2021 playoffs with rookie Mac Jones but tumbled into one of the worst teams in the league by 2023.
On Sunday, Brady sped off to cover an offensive explosion. The Rams edged the Bills 44-42 in one of the games of the season. Los Angeles quarterback Matthew Stafford was arguably the star of the show, completing 23 of his 30 passes for 320 yards and two touchdowns.
