Guillermo Cantú talks about the commitments of the Mexican National Team

During the presentation of the women's national soccer league, Guillermo Cantú, Secretary General of the Mexican Soccer Federation, spoke about the commitments that the senior team will have in the coming days, and assured that the 7-0 defeat in the Copa America was painful; however, it is time to move forward.

"It's something that will leave a mark on us, I think it's time to look forward, we can't stay there, we have to look towards the future because the fans also demand it", he said.

Similarly, Cantú emphasized that "there is an important moment of reflection" and that it is essential "to learn from the experience, if we try to erase it, it will be of little use".

Regarding the matches against El Salvador and Honduras, the executive assured that despite being qualified, they will be faced with seriousness, as it is important to recover emotionally after what happened against Chile.

"We face them with all seriousness, we have had some injuries and despite already being qualified for the final hexagonal, this concentration is very important for reflection on the last painful match we had", he concluded.
