Horse Racing Report
Tenth in the qualifying times for this race on August 14th, N Sure positioned herself as the second choice by the public that attended the ticket booths. Mojito Limes, owned by Cuadra El Zurco, stepped into the arena as the favorite due to having the best time for the final race designed for native Quarter Horses that went through the ring of the XXX Select Auction in September 2014.
After the starting shot, Moon Horse Ryon from Cuadra Tlayeka shot out on the rail side, followed by N Sure in the second lane to catch up with the leader. Without further ado, the beloved filly from Cuadra San Antonio AJH, under the reliable irons of Gonzalez, who has ridden the filly in the last six races, made a phenomenal overtaking move until reaching the finish line at the end of the 400 yards (365.76 meters), stopping the timer at 19.68 seconds on a muddy track due to last night's rain.
The athlete trained by Juan José Razo, daughter of Native Cartel out of Sure Alibi by Sir Alibi, entered the Winner's Circle for the ninth time at Las Américas. She has four seconds and one third place finish in 19 races. Silver Perry finished one and a half lengths behind her, followed by Mojito Limes from Cuadra El Zurco in third place and Lafishingonabugsmoon from Cuadra Los Gavilanes closing the board in fourth.
The filly Thru Fire Corona from Rancho El Suspiro was scratched from the race, while Separate Snow Moon from Cuadra Los Arrallanes and El Jamaikino from Cuadra Bastida, who had qualified for the final, were not entered.
After crossing the finish line, Moon Horse Ryon lost control near the rail, throwing off her jockey. The jockey was later assisted by the medical staff of the venue and was able to leave the track on his own, thankfully.
