UFC: Enrique Barzola lost to Kyle Bochniak by split decision.

Peruvian Enrique Barzola was unable to debut in the UFC with a victory and fell in a controversial decision (0-27, 28-29, and 28-29) against American Kyle Bochniak.

National fighter Enrique Barzola was defeated by Kyle Bochniak (USA) in his UFC debut fight after 3 rounds in the octagon. This fight corresponded to the featherweight division, where the maximum weight limit is 65.7 kg.

The actions. The 'Strong' tried to avoid a slugfest, so he based his offense on a couple of good kicks to his opponent's chest. However, Bochniak showed better composure in close combat.

Started better. For the second round, Barzola came out strong and demonstrated it by landing a direct blow to his opponent's face. After that, he managed to take down the American, but didn't have much luck in punishing him.

Controversial decision. Kyle Bochniak managed to withstand better in the final round, while the Peruvian lacked luck in trying to knock out his opponent. In the end, the judges awarded 30-27 for Barzola and 28-29/28-29 for the American. Despite the loss, the 'Strong' still has two more fights scheduled thanks to his victory in TUF Latin America 2015.
