Route information and parking options are now available for the Florida Panthers' championship celebration parade that'll be held Sunday in Fort Lauderdale.

If you’re planning to attend the Florida Panthers’ championship celebration parade on Sunday, officials have one major tip: Arrive early.

The parade officially starts at 11 a.m., but event roads will be closed by 8:30 a.m. The parade will follow a route along State Road A1A starting at Riomar Street and ending by Southeast Fifth Street.

Parking is available at several nearby locations, though prices for each spot may vary.

— To park and walk to the parade, Fort Lauderdale officials recommend the Galleria Mall, Birch State Park, Bonnet House Museum and Gardens, Las Olas Garage or the Downtown Las Olas Business District.

— To park and take a water taxi to the parade, which start as early as 7 a.m. on Sunday, Fort Lauderdale officials recommend parking at the Broward County Convention Center, the Downtown Las Olas Business District or the Enhanced Water Taxi Services from Docks 1, 4 or 7.

— To park and take a shuttle service to the parade, which also starts at 7 a.m., people can park at the Heron Parking Garage, which is next to the Broward County Convention Center.

Alternative modes of transportation such as Uber or Lyft, water taxi, the Brightline or even biking are “strongly encouraged.”
