The 2020 U.S. Open champ is putting on a show for the ages on Saturday at Pinehurst.

The golf shots were one thing, from the booming drives to the daring recoveries to the curling putts. But there's always more to the Bryson DeChambeau Show. And those at Pinehurst No. 2 on Saturday got a special treat.

Not only did the LIV star make an electrifying charge to the top of the leaderboard, but he did it with his usual flair. That included one particularly hilarious exchange with the gallery off the 13th tee.

DeChambeau arrived at the 368-yard par 4 and had a long discussion with his caddie about whether he should try to drive the green. And by discussion, we mean DeChambeau did a lot of talking. But after making his decision to play it safe and sensing the fans wouldn't like it, DeChambeau said to the crowd, "Don't boo me, I'm sorry."

Of course, some booed, but mostly they enjoyed the interaction with the game's preeminent showman now that Phil Mickelson has passed his prime. Have a look and listen:

So good. You'd think this was in the middle of a Silly Season event, not the freaking U.S. Open.

But Bryson is just built different. And while this entertainer may have gotten a few boos for playing it safe there, no one received as many cheers on Saturday for their performance.
