The Dutch midfielder Rafael van der Vaart has signed for the Danish team Midjylland for two seasons after an almost blank season with Real Betis and has stated that his intention is to help a "young" club with his experience, acquired in teams like Ajax, Hamburg, Real Madrid or Tottemham.
