Juventus vs. Roma: Lineups & Game Thread

With Bologna and Inter Milan each dropping points earlier in the weekend, an already important match for both Roma and Juventus takes on added significance. With a win, Juventus can close the gap behind league-leading Inter to a mere two points, while the Giallorossi can leapfrog sixth-place Atalanta and pull level with fifth-place Bologna on 31 points if they can topple Juve this afternoon.

Not that a Juve-Roma match needed extra juice, but there you have it. While much of the league is busy wringing their hands over the impending death of the Growth Decree statute that enabled Serie A clubs to sign foreign talent with the lure of tax breaks, the Giallorossi and the Old Lady of Italian Football will close out Matchday 18 in what promises to be a taut affair between two clubs with everything to gain.
