Monza CEO Adriano Galliani discusses the future of Inter Milan transfer target Andrea Colpani in addition to Carlos Augusto.
This season, Coplani has cemented himself as one of the most exciting rising stars in Italian football.
The attacking midfielder has already netted six goals in Serie A this season. This earned him a call-up to the Italian national team, even though he has yet to make his debut.
News reports have been heavily linking the 24-year-old with the likes of Inter and Juventus.
However, Galliani reveals that no one has approached Monza asking for Coplani thus far.
The 79-year-old insists that the club tied down the player to a long-term contract and they don’t intend to part ways with him anytime soon.
“No one came to us to discuss Colpani,” said the legendary AC Milan director in an interview with Il Corriere dello Sport via FcInterNews.
“He has five years on his contract and we are still in December. Until June and beyond he is not negotiable.”

On the other hand, Galliani felt that Carlos Augusto made the right call by joining Inter last month.
The Monza CEO points to the fact that the wingback has immediately managed to earn a Brazil call-up after joining the Nerazzurri.
“It was a different story for Carlos Augusto who only had a year left on his contract and wanted to become a Brazil international.
“He asked to join Inter and he was right. Playing with us for an entire season. he was never in consideration.
“But a few appearances for Inter were enough and the national team’s doors opened.
“The same thing used to happen during my time at Milan. When you wear that shirt, you attract national team coaches.”
