[UPDATE 2]: Despite trying to get back into the game, Cox went back to the sideline and was eventually ruled out mid-way through the fourth quarter, and won’t return against the Bills.

[UPDATE]: Cox was seen on the sideline stretching after halftime, and was (thankfully) able to return to the field for the first defensive snap of the third quarter.
Eagles defensive tackle Fletcher Cox was sidelined in the second quarter against the Bills on Sunday. Cox was slow to get up but was then able to leave the field under his own power, before ultimately leaving for the locker room. He was walking very slowly back to the tunnel.
Shortly thereafter, he was listed as questionable to return with a groin injury — something afflicting Lane Johnson on Sunday, as well.
Injury Update: DT Fletcher Cox (groin) is questionable to return.

Cox was injured just one play after Jalen Carter was slow to get up, during a game that is soggy and muddy, and full of injury potential. The Eagles are typically pretty deep along the defensive line, but Milton Williams is out this week after suffering a concussion against the Chiefs, and the team released Derek Barnett earlier in the week.
The veteran DT may not have shown up on the stat sheet before leaving the game, but he affects the game in a lot of ways, and will certainly be missed if he isn’t able to return.
