Liga 1 Betsson | The technical director of Universitario de Deportes, Jorge Fossati, offered a press conference on Thursday in which he expressed his feelings about the finals that the cream team will play against Alianza Lima, their biggest rival, for the absolute title of the Liga 1 Betsson.
“(I am) happy and grateful to God for being in these instances. It is also thanks to the values that this group of footballers has had throughout the year. We have gone through difficult times and I have never seen this team disappoint, neither at home nor internationally,” the Uruguayan coach said.
“Based on everything I have seen during this year, I arrive with great expectations, great optimism, beyond the respect that the rival deserves, because the facts tell me that our team is absolutely reliable,” he added.
The 'merengue' coach has his entire squad available for the first final, which will be played on Saturday, November 4th at 8 p.m., at the Monumental Stadium in Ate.
The second leg will be played on Wednesday, November 8th, at the same time, at the Matute Stadium.
