Duet and Synchronized Swimming Team from Mexico Takes the Lead in Pan American Games

In the morning of this Tuesday, Nuria Diosdado and Joana Jimenez placed first among 11 duets that presented their technical routines. The Mexican duo scored 34.20 points, pushing the American duo Megumi Field and Ruby Remati, both world medalists, into second place with a score of 30.50 points.

In the evening, during the last day of competition, the national team once again outperformed the American representative.

Under the guidance of coach Adriana Loftus, the Mexican team achieved a score of 267.5842, compared to the 253.8008 of the United States. Canada finished third with 233.2679 points.

In the stands, throughout the two sessions, the Mexican supporters showed up with family and friends of the Mexican sirens who were determined to win the medals.
