Carlos Zago appointed as new coach of the Bolivian National Football Team
A month before facing the "bicolor" in La Paz, the Bolivian Football Federation introduced Carlos Zago as their new head coach for the upcoming South American Qualifiers matches.
In his first words as the coach of "La Verde," the Brazilian strategist expressed his happiness for joining the Bolivian national team and committed to working hard to start earning points in the following games.
"It won't be easy, we have to work hard. I will work hard. It's an honor to represent this country, we have to start earning points to have a better position," stated Zago in a press conference.
REPLACING COSTAS
Carlos Zago arrives at the Bolivian National Team to replace Gustavo Costas, who left the team after the poor start in the qualifiers. As it is remembered, Bolivia suffered four consecutive defeats under the guidance of the Argentine coach.
