Orlando City defeated Nashville 1-0 at home in the round of 16 of the MLS thanks to a goal by Wilder Cartagena.
At the 40th minute, the Peruvian National Team player received a pass from Uruguayan César Araujo, tried from outside the box and his powerful shot went into the top corner, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance.
Cartagena was replaced in the 62nd minute by Júnior Urso while Pedro Gallese played the full 90 minutes in Florida's victory.
Orlando City will return the visit to Nashville next Tuesday, November 7, in search of a spot in the MLS Eastern Conference semifinals.
