Barcelona President to Real Madrid: "We will be the best club in history"

In the first item on the agenda of the latest Barcelona Assembly, Joan Laporta, culé president, addressed the club's members. The executive shared a positive perspective on the team's situation, both in sporting and economic terms. In addition, in the institutional field, he addressed again the attacks that the institution has faced in relation to the 'Negreira case'. Laporta declared himself innocent in this process and pointed out that these attacks are driven by what he called "sociological Madridism". In a previous interview, he had mentioned this term and warned that, to the displeasure of Real Madrid, Barça will once again be the best club in history. This situation comes just before a new Clásico is played.

In his opening remarks, Laporta praised all the members of Barcelona, highlighting that they have avoided a catastrophe for the club. This refers to the difficult economic situation that the institution is going through and that has prevented them from making the signings they would have liked for the recent season.
