The Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) champion José 'Pepe Toro' Galindo will defend his FFC title against the dangerous Mexican striker Ricardo 'Woody' Chávez in the main fight of Fusion Fighting Championship's return to Mexico. The national fighter won the belt in a tough battle against the Chilean Patricio Navarrete, and currently has a record of 5-0 in FFC.
The challenger earned the right to compete for the title after a devastating victory over the legendary Argentine Martín 'La Máquina' Ottaviano. In his first fight in FFC, the Mexican also defeated Navarrete. This new FFC 67 card in Mexico will feature three championship bouts.
In the co-main event, Hugo 'Pandamoniun' Lezama will face the experienced Brazilian Rodrigo Carlos 'Buga'. Additionally, minutes before, the Peruvian Óscar Miguel will defend the flyweight crown against the Mexican Danny Nuñez. The card will also have tough representatives from Peru, Argentina, and Ecuador facing off against talented Mexican representatives.
It should be noted that the event will take place on Thursday, October 19, at the Sala Urbana and will be broadcasted throughout Peru on Movistar Deportes, in South America on D'Sports Fight (DirecTv), and worldwide on UFC Fight Pass.
