The 1990 US Open champion is a regular rugby follower and has expressed her support through her social media accounts on several occasions. This time, delighted with the triumph at the Stade Vélodrome in Marseille, France, she highlighted the determination of the Argentinian team, which will play against New Zealand for a spot in the final on Friday, October 20th.

On her Twitter account, the winner of 27 WTA titles and one of the greatest stars in Argentine sports, posted four images of Los Pumas' feat along with a brief text: "Emotion determination", followed by heart and applause emojis.
This is not the first time Gaby has expressed herself about special rugby events. In 2022, for example, she posted a comment saying "Go Los Pumas" after a special victory against New Zealand.
In 2020, she highlighted the success in the Rugby Championship once again against the All Blacks, while in 2015, she wrote: "Congratulations to Los Pumas for the historic triumph against South Africa".
