America defeated Guadalajara convincingly on Sunday thanks to a brace from Colombian forward Julian Quiñones in a friendly edition of the Mexican classic played at the Rose Bowl stadium in Pasadena, California. Approximately 87,000 fans of the Eagles and the Guadalajara club packed the stands, which have a capacity of around 90,000 spectators, in what was the most attended soccer match between Mexican teams in this venue and also in the history of the United States.
