Atlético Nacional once again prevailed against Águilas Doradas and confirmed their place in the semi-finals of the Copa Colombia 2023. The Verdolagas had won 0-3 as visitors in the first leg and now defeated the Rionegro team 2-1 at the Atanasio Girardot stadium.
Nacional had a scare at the start of the match, as the visitors had already opened the scoring through José Cuenú in the 14th minute.
However, the Verdolagas managed to react and equalized thanks to a goal from Óscar Perea. Nacional secured the victory and a spot in the semi-finals with a goal from the experienced Dorlan Pabón, who had also assisted in the first goal of the Antioquian team.
Atlético Nacional and Deportivo Pereira are currently the first two semi-finalists of the Copa Colombia 2023 and will await the other two opponents that will come out of tomorrow's matches. Afterwards, Dimayor will hold a draw to determine the pairings of the top four teams in the tournament.
