During the second half of the Universitario vs. UTC match, Patrick Zubczuk made a mistake that led to the third goal for the crema team. Subsequently, fans questioned his performance on social media, so he decided to respond strongly through a 'story' from his official Instagram account.

"I accept the criticism regarding my performance in a match, but I don't accept that my dignity and professionalism are called into question. I have been in the Peruvian football scene for many years and nobody has a bad concept of me. I give my all to UTC match after match throughout the year, with successes and mistakes, and I believe nobody can say otherwise. For me, the match against Universitario was very special, I expected to have a great performance because it's a national showcase. Unfortunately, I had a very bad night, completely opposite to what I had in mind (completely opposite to the afternoon I had against Universitario in the Apertura, when they were also fighting for the championship)," he said.
"It's not the first time nor the last that I have a bad performance on the field, it's part of our profession, and I'm also aware that a bad match doesn't erase all the good things done during the championship. I work day by day for my family, to grow as a professional. I reject any comment that calls into question my dignity and affects my family," he added.
Thus, the footballer settled the matter, and he is already thinking about the next opponent that the 'Gavilán' will face in the Clausura Tournament 2023. He also expressed his gratitude to the UTC footballers, as he pointed out that they gave him their full support.
"Finally, I want to thank my teammates for their support at all times, they live with me every day and know what I give to the team. Thanks to my family who is always there in good times and bad, to my friends and to all the true UTC fans who support me from the very beginning and make me feel at home," he concluded.
