Claudio Pizarro turns 45 years old: Greetings from Bayern Munich and Werder Bremen [VIDEO]

Claudio Pizarro's former teams used their social media to congratulate him on his birthday.

This Tuesday, October 3rd, Claudio Pizarro turns 45 years old and received heartfelt greetings from the football teams he was part of at some point in his career. Both Werder Bremen and Bayern Munich greeted the 'Bombardero' through their social media.

On the other hand, DW Sports, an international broadcaster from Germany, took the opportunity to pay tribute to the former footballer with a short video that remembered Pizarro's beginnings in Werder Bremen. They also highlighted that he was the oldest scorer in the history of the Bundesliga.

It is worth mentioning that Claudio Pizarro retired from football in 2020, after two decades. He arrived at Werder Bremen in 1999 and won the affection of the fans from his first matches, especially because in his first season in the Bundesliga, he scored 10 goals and provided 5 assists in 25 matches at just 21 years old.

In addition, Claudio is part of Bayern Munich's legendary team and continues his life in Germany.
