Lebanon celebrates Alexander Succar's availability for the Asian World Cup 2026 qualifiers

Lebanon has been filled with joy upon hearing that Alexander Succar has obtained all the necessary documentation to be able to represent the national team in the upcoming Asian qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

This information was revealed by the Lebanese media outlet Spot Shot, who mentioned that all the fans in the country are very optimistic about seeing the Universitario de Deportes striker playing in the Asian Cup and the qualifiers.

"Alexander Succar's decision has generated a state of happiness among the Lebanese, especially because the professional player will be able to participate in the Asian Nations Cup in Qatar and the qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup," they stated.

But not only that, the same media outlet explained that they are only waiting to finalize the decree that would confirm Succar's restoration of citizenship, something that is expected to be done in the coming days.

"After the issuance of the decree to restore citizenship, preparations began for a meeting between the Lebanese Football Association and the Minister of Interior and Municipalities of the interim government, Bassam Mawlawi, which will take place during the upcoming short period to resolve things," they explained.

Alexander Succar could lose the opportunity to play for Peru
