University of Catholic's Coach Frustrated with Loss to Colo Colo
University of Catholic's coach, Nicolás Núñez, was left quite upset after the agonizing defeat suffered by the team against Colo Colo, pointing his finger at referee Felipe González.
"There is frustration because it is evident that there are many things that bother us, especially the injustice and not being measured with the same yardstick. The fact of the expulsion conditioned us, we were defending well, but we had to do it further back," the strategist began.
Núñez continued, remembering that "this same referee did not call a penalty against Audax and his boss criticized him. It is evident that there is something personal with him, frustration, resentment, perhaps the fact of having belonged to this club and not having continued participating, I don't know, one imagines things. It gave 11 minutes, when the first half was more stopped than the second."
The coach did not stop there and emphasized that "today there was no referee who did well and measured both teams with the same yardstick, he has arrogant attitudes. If we are not capable of saying our phrases and the committee is going to apply sanctions, I feel that we are not going in the right direction."
Finally, the coach of the team sent a clear request to the ANFP. "I hope he never referees us again, because he always conditions us. I tried to be respectful and I hope they don't penalize me for these things," he concluded.
