With their magic number stuck at just one, the Brewers stand a very good chance (*knocks on an entire lumberyard of wood*) of clinching the NL Division title this week against the St. Louis Cardinals. The sweet taste of victory won't be limited to the field, though, as Brew Crew fans in the stands at AmFam Field can win as well thanks to a special "buy one get one" beer deal during the three-game home series.

Here's the deal: When fans in attendance at any of the three games on Sept. 26-28 buy a 16-ounce can or cup of Miller Lite, Coors Light or Miller High Life at any AmFam Field concessions stand, at J. Leinenkugel's Barrel Yard or X-Golf in the stadium, they'll get another one for free. It's an entire BOGO free-for-all, though, as the deal is only available when the gates open at AmFam Field through the first inning of each game – so you'll want to get in early.

"We appreciate our fans’ ongoing support, and we share their excitement as we continue the chase for the Division title and a spot in the Wild Card round," said Brewers President of Business Operations Rick Schlesinger, in a release. "This is a toast to the millions of Brewers fans for a great season so far, with more excitement on the horizon."

Tickets for the three-game series against the Cardinals, as well as for the final regular season trio of home games against the Chicago Cubs on Sept. 29 through Oct. 1, are still available at the Brewers website.

Tickets are also available at the team's website for the Brewers' impending postseason visit – which the Brew Crew officially clinched with Friday night's win over the Miami Marlins. That victory was just to ensure a playoff birth, though, as the Brewers' magic number for locking up the NL Central division over the Cubs and ensuring home field against whoever they play in that first series stands at just one. That means that if the Brewers can win just once over these final six games – or if the Cubs lose just once – they've clinched the division and the three seed in the NL side of the playoff bracket. So there's still something to play for these final games (beyond just getting to roast the Cardinals and Cubs).

As much as it is a gigantic cliché to say that one has always had a passion for film, Matt Mueller has always had a passion for film. Whether it was bringing in the latest movie reviews for his first grade show-and-tell or writing film reviews for the St. Norbert College Times as a high school student, Matt is way too obsessed with movies for his own good.

When he's not writing about the latest blockbuster or talking much too glowingly about "Piranha 3D," Matt can probably be found watching literally any sport (minus cricket) or working at - get this - a local movie theater. Or watching a movie. Yeah, he's probably watching a movie.
